Halloween party & disco
This is our main event and always great fun, join us for a Halloween scavenger hunt, cupcake decorating, spooky sensory and craft room, Halloween disco and of course role play in our lovely role play rooms which will be decorated for Halloween. All children will also get a hotdog included in the ticket price and a small gift to take home.
We would love to see everyone's best non scary Halloween costumes so dress up is very welcome.
ALN DRumming workshop
This session will incorporate an African drumming workshop with the fantastic Dan Phelps for the first 45 mins to an hour of the session and is just £4 with thanks to funding from The Welsh Government. (You will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire after the session, so we can feed back to our funders).
Dan's workshops support and encourage children to work towards an exciting and memorable performance involving a variety of rhythmic parts and ostinatos.
Children will get hands-on experience of using traditional African instruments such as Djembe drums, a Djun Djun (African bass drum), Ghana bells and Shekere shakers.
It will be a relaxed session so no pressure on the children to play the drums. There will be sensory lights around the centre and they can play in the role play rooms towards the end of the session too.
Family FUN EVENING
Join us for a family friendly quiz, bingo, play plus a raffle!
Includes a buffet for all the family!
We luckily received some funding for this session from the SPF Fund, which is why the cost is so low. You will be asked to fill in some forms, which is essential for our feedback to the Government about the impact the sessions have had. Thank you in advance - we really appreciate your time to complete them, as it means we apply for further funding with the evidence received.
Funded Cookery Sessions
Join us for some lovely cookery sessions. These are for all the family to enjoy - we will be making dishes from scratch, using maths skills such as weighing, mixing ingredients together and then cooking them...plus play in our lovely role play village will be included too! (UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT CATER FOR ANY ALLERGIES IN THIS SESSION).
This session is just £5 thanks to funding from Multiply! You will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire after your session, which will help us to report back and for gaining funding for future sessions, keeping costs down for our community.
